1. Bioceramic Root Canal Sealers

In root canal therapy, we remove diseased dental pulp from the inside of a tooth to preserve the natural tooth. By using bioceramic root canal sealers to fill the cleaned roots, we are able to make your tooth stronger. Other sealers can result in a brittle tooth that is at greater risk of breaking.

2. Cone-Beam 3D Imaging

We use CBCT technology to create high-resolution, 3-dimensional images of a patient’s teeth, jaw, surrounding bone, and even nerves with a single scan. CBCT imaging is different from X-rays in its level of detail, which allows us to make precise treatment plans for procedures such as oral surgery, root canals, and dental implants. We can use it to visualize complex root structures that can be missed by 2D imaging.

3. Digital X-Rays

Dental X-rays are an essential diagnostic tool and have been for many decades. They help us see cavities and other problems that would be invisible to the naked eye. The drawback with traditional X-rays is the amount of radiation they use. Modern digital X-rays produce better images with much less radiation, making them better for both the dentist and the patient.

4. Intraoral Camera Technology

With intraoral cameras, the dentist can take close-up, high-definition photos of your teeth and gums. These photos make it easier for us to show you what we see when we diagnose a dental problem and recommend treatment options. They also help us monitor your progress during a procedure and afterward.

5. iTero Scanner

With the iTero scanner, you can say goodbye to unpleasant trays of putty. With the handheld digital wand, we can scan your mouth in seconds and create an accurate digital model for fabricating crowns, bridges, dental implants, clear aligners, and prosthetics designed for you. 

6. Ultrasonics

Ultrasonic instruments remove debris, infected tissue, and bacteria from inside a root canal system using high-frequency sound waves. These tools give us incredible precision when working in complex anatomical areas and are essential for achieving the high-quality root canal results we hold ourselves to.

7. VELscope

Catching oral cancer as early as possible is critical for good treatment outcomes, and VELscope helps us detect it. We use the blue light-emitting handheld device to identify abnormalities in oral tissue that could indicate cancerous or pre-cancerous conditions, with no need for dyes or rinses. This technology has been clinically proven to increase early detection rates.

A: Yes. Everything we used has gone through rigorous testing in order to be approved for dental use. Our CBCT scanner and digital X-rays use minimal radiation, and we regularly calibrate our equipment and maintain it at the highest standard for safety and performance.

Q: Will I need to request this technology in my treatment, or is it standard?

A: All of our patients benefit from the advanced technology we use, even if they only see us for basic cleanings and exams. We customize all treatment plans to the individual patient, and we will explain why we are using a particular tool beforehand.
